In an effort to select the finest, sustainably sourced raw materials, but also preserve and promote expertise, Sauvage now features two new and unique wood caps.
Woodworking Expertise
A skillful blend of authenticity and elegance, the Sauvage wood caps add a crowning touch to the iconic bottle. Each piece bears the emblematic signatures of the House: the sculpted gadroons and the silver metal initials CD placed by hand to enhance the raw wood.
Exceptional Woods for Sauvage
Congolese Ebony
Renowned for its slow growth and resistance, this wood from the Republic of the Congo is very difficult to produce and to work. It brings this rare quality to Sauvage today. Renowned for the intense color of its black heart, it is reputed to be the darkest natural wood.
Cameroonian Wenge
Native to Cameroon, wenge is an extremely rare precious wood. Like ebony, its dark color tinged with red and its extraordinary density reflect the concentration and the intensity of Sauvage.
Personalisation Service
The final and exclusive touch, custom engraving on the caps leaves a personal mark on a timeless object.
