Nothing is lost, everything is transformed: Dior's responsible commitment extends all the way to the packaging of Miss Dior Rose Essence. Composed of 25% recycled glass, its ultra-thin glass bottle is nestled in a recyclable case made with FSC-certified paper that is 40% recycled and 15% rose petal residue from the harvest.

The rain water rushes down the rose-covered fields. It is harvest time, the flowers fill the air with their heady scent. The water absorbs their powerful odors and then joins the stream that supplies all the fountains of Grasse. Each fountain in the city seems to be miraculously steeped in the scent of flowers, in unison with the annual harvests that form the beating heart of this unique land. These floral waters, naturally scented, ran all the way to the city's fountains: and so "scented fountains" were born.

To offer a few drops of this secret to women around the world, Dior has today reserved all of the harvests from the Domaine de Manon, its exclusive and historic partner in Grasse, for the distillation of this exceptional rose. Each year, in the month of May, thousands of roses are harvested and distilled to obtain the precious drops of fresh rose water that fill the Miss Dior Rose Essence fragrance. The production is limited to the yield of these fields of rose bushes, making each product all the more extraordinary since it follows the rhythm of nature.
