Dior Maison reimagines the signature motif as a non-woven wallpaper, reflecting an exceptional French savoir-faire. Its traditional fiber texture offers a unique effect, similar to linen. • Application of wallpaper and mural coverings:
    • Tools needed:
    • – Plumb line or level
    • – Pencil
    • – Adhesive for non-woven wallpaper
    • – Wallpaper smoothing brush
    • – Roller
    • – Box cutter
    • – Ruler
    • Before starting:
    • Make sure the wall is smooth, clean and dry. Sand any rough patches with the appropriate grit of sandpaper. Remove switch plates and outlet covers. They can be reintroduced following installation.
    • After placing the first length as straight as possible, use a level or plumb line. Trace a straight line 62 cm (24.5) from the edge of the wall and follow it for the first length of wallpaper.
    • Adhesive:
    • These wallpapers are non-woven, for which specific adhesives are made and solvent-free varieties are recommended. Prepare the adhesive as indicated in the product's instructions. Spread the adhesive directly on the wall with a roller or wallpaper brush.
    • Hanging:
    • Roll out the paper and begin at the top of the wall. If the wall is not straight, start from the higher side or allow the wallpaper to go 2 – 3 cm (1) over. Smooth the paper with the smoothing brush, moving toward the paper's edge to remove air bubbles. Cut the extra paper at the baseboards and ceiling with a ruler and box cutter. Use the roller on the length edges to make sure they do not curl.
