This reference book retraces the inter-linkages between the House of Dior and Japan in an unprecedented way. Published on the occasion of the exhibition Christian Dior: Designer of Dreams opening December 21, 2022, at the Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo (MOT), this title chronicles the evolution of the House of Dior from its first collection in 1947 in Paris, when Christian Dior heralded the birth of a new era of elegance with his revolutionary New Look, to the present day. Furthermore, this book underlines the links between the House of Dior and Japan, with a magnificent portfolio of original photographs by the famous Japanese photographer Yuriko Takagi.
